2005 – 2006 Guide to Eating Ontario Sport Fish
January 1st, 2005

Lake Ontario Waterkeeper supports the right of every person to safely eat fish from their local waterways. In order to help you monitor your exposure to contaminants, and to help researchers track trends on the Great Lakes, we provide you with a link to Ontario’s Guide to Eating Sportfish. This guide is published by the Government of Ontario and is updated every two years.

Please take a moment to read the Guide’s Introductory Section – it has important information regarding the presence of contaminants in Great Lakes fish, with breakdowns by region.
