Prince Edward County council has scheduled a special council meeting to discuss wind energy in the county. The meeting will take place Sept. 24 at 10 a. m. at council chambers in Shire Hall.

A report regarding the Byran Wind Project Environmental Review will be discussed at the meeting. A report regarding the Industrial Wind Turbine Economic Impact Assessment will also be considered.

A second meeting on wind energy will be held Sept. 29 at 6 p. m. at the Prince Edward Community Centre in Picton to receive public input and information on the development of wind energy within the county.
