Lafarge Canada Inc. files for Air Certificate

A new Certificate of Approval (Air) was issued to permit Lafarge Canada Inc.’s Energy Farm Demonstration Project at their portland cement manufacturing plant located in Bath, Ontario. The project is to test a variety of biomass fuel crops in a cement kiln for a period of 60 days.

Public Consultation on the proposal for this decision was provided for 30 Days, from July 24, 2009 to August 23, 2009.

As a result of public consultation on the proposal, the Ministry received a total of 0 comments.
