durhamregion.com | Oshawa harbour deal public meeting July 16
July 9th, 2010

This Week has learned the federal government intends to hold a public information session on July 16 about the future of the City’s harbour.

The federal government is expected to make an announcement about the amount of funding linked with the confidential agreement council voted on earlier this year.

A public information session about the agreement and the plans it contains will be held Friday.

The federal government has denied a request from council to release the report prior to the meeting.

Details of when and where the session will take place will be on newsdurhamregion.com as they become available.
