Lake Ontario needs your help at the Nelson Aggregate hearing
Nelson Aggregate Hearing
January 19th, 2011

Proceeds from the sale of Stew Jones' Mount Nemo painting will help pay for expert evidence at the Nelson Aggregate Hearing.

Lake Ontario needs your help. The success of the Nelson Aggregate quarry hearing depends on expert evidence on everything from hydrogeology and ecology to forest cover and endangered species. When the Ministry of Natural Resources pulled out of the hearing, an increased onus fell on non-government organizations like Lake Ontario Waterkeeper and PERL to pay for these experts to present their evidence to the Board.

Here are two quick and easy ways you can help:

  • Text “Drink” to 45678 and make a $10 donation.
  • Buy a limited edition Mount Nemo painting from PERL’s website
