Patrick Lamarre, who heads Candu Energy Inc. is quoted in the Toronto Star saying that new Candu reactors are on hold:

In an interview, Lamarre said work on the next-generation Advanced Candu Reactor, or ACR, has been put on hold because there’s no market demand.
