“Dam” concerns in St. Catharines!

Not everyone is happy with the power-generation dam being proposed in the Garden City. St Catharines Hydro Generation wants to put the dam near the downtown core on 12-Mile Creek, which flows north towards Lake Ontario. Wolfe Island hockey tournament renamed in honour of Chris Mattson

The 5th Annual Wolfe Island hockey tournament, renamed in honour of (Uncle) Chris Mattson, took place last weekend. Four teams competed for the "Lake Ontario Cup" on the Island's new hockey rink.
