The southern half of Durham Region covers the Lake Ontario shoreline from Pickering in the west to Clarington in the east. The population of the entire region is just under 600,000 people. The land is a mix of urban, suburban, and industrial development. Waterkeeper submits comments on Darlington nuclear station refurbishment

Lake Ontario Waterkeeper has submitted our official comments regarding the Darlington refurbishment project.Ontario Power Generation [OPG] is seeking approval to refurbish the Darlington Nuclear Power Plant in Clarington, Ontario.
