The Waterkeeper Gala Toronto is the biggest night of the year for water in Toronto.

Attended by leaders from the worlds of art, business, sport, and entertainment. Past hosts and attendees include Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip, photographer Edward Burtynsky, environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., writer Joseph Boyden, and entertainers Leslie Feist, Sarah Harmer, Scott Thompson.

This year's event features Wade Davis, the renowned National Geographic explorer-in-residence, anthropologist, and writer. Wade has been collaborating with Waterkeeper through the National Water Centre to look at the changing role of water in Canadian culture.

There will also be special "Watermark" stories from some notable Canadians that you won't want to miss.

Proceeds from the gala support Waterkeeper work for swimmable, drinkable, fishable water. The event has raised $1.3 million since 2012.
