IJC Forum Public Sessions: What is a healthy Lake Ontario for you?

  • Allstream Centre & Toronto City Hall Toronto, Ontario Canada

On Wednesday, October 5, in the midst of the Great Lakes Public Forum, the IJC invites Toronto's public to share their views on community efforts; on what the governments are and aren’t doing to restore and protect the lake; and how to develop a shared vision for what is a healthy Lake Ontario.

Waterkeeper's President Mark Mattson is honoured to speak at both of the IJC's public meetings:

  1. Wednesday, October 5 @ 4:30-6pm @ Allstream Centre
    (105 Princes' Boulevard Toronto, ON)

Mark will give a brief statement on the progress while under the 2012 Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement followed by presentations from the public. (More details)
  2. Wednesday, October 5 @ 7-9pm @ Toronto City Hall, Committee Room 1
(100 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON)
After introductory comments from Commissioners, and Mark, Torontonians are invited to give short presentations on the primary issue they feel Toronto and Lake Ontario are facing. (More details)

If you want to share your thoughts, opinions, or concerns for Lake Ontario and the Great Lakes, please attend one (or both) of these meetings!
