Northmount School

  • Northmount School 26 Mallard Road North York, ON, M3B 3N1 Canada (map)

The Great Lakes are an invaluable resource to Canada and the US, yet the number of threats to our freshwater resource seem to be growing. Having this discussion with younger audiences is now crucial to increasing awareness. How can a swimmable drinkable fishable future be possible if communities don't know why water is worth protecting?

It is with great pleasure to speak at Northmount School. Waterkeeper's Krystyn Tully (Vice-President), Amy Wilford (Office Coordinator), and Ruby Pajares (Communications Coordinator) will provide a brief overview of Lake Ontario's watershed and a closer look at local issues affecting the health and well-being of the Great Lakes.
