"Sharing Experiences" Workshop

  • Puslinch Community Centre 23 Brock Road South Guelph, ON, N1H 6H9 Canada (map)

Are you a community-minded individual or group member keen on skill-building, networking and sharing ideas about your environmental projects? If so, this workshop is for you!

Sharing Experiences offers a balanced mix of presentations, discussion time and opportunities to meet like-minded people. The goal is to give you resources and key take-home messages to help you develop or enhance environmental projects within your community. Ontario's former Environmental Commissioner, Gord Miller is this year's keynote speaker.

Make sure you attend the last breakout session of the day. At 2:35pm, Waterkeeper's Vice-President, Krystyn Tully will provide you with simple tools so you can easily take better care of your Great Lakes.

This event is especially well suited for:

  • volunteers,
  • representatives of clubs or small conservation/stewardship-themed groups
  • individuals interested creating positive environmental change
  • Please arrive with your own stories and questions. We know you will leave with the tools and inspiration to move your ideas forward!
