Ever wonder if you can eat fish from Lake Ontario? (Yes you can!). Are there still commercial fisheries in the Great Lakes? (Yes indeed!). Is water quality getting better? (Yup!)
Eating Lake Ontario is your chance to learn more about these important questions. Chef Paul Dubeau of Dianne’s Fish Shack in Kingston is cooking up a 3-course dinner of local fish. Colin Lake from the Ministry of Natural Resources will be the main speaker. John Squair is bringing his vino from Three Dog Winery in Prince Edward County and talking about his water management practices. This is your chance to THINK about this important issue, SINK your teeth into some delicious seafood, and DRINK some local wine.
Lake Ontario Waterkeeper's staff will be in attendance and are proud to enjoy and promote this wonderful feast.
