Outward Bound Canada’s Urban Expeditions are designed to introduce participants to new adventures in the outdoors. These one-week, overnight urban-based expeditions not only teach participants the basics of camping and exploring the wilderness, but allow participants to reflect and learn about themselves.

Recently, Outward Bound Canada saw Waterkeeper's effort to monitor Toronto's inner harbour on social media. Since their Toronto Urban Expedition explored part of the harbour, it made sense to get Waterkeeper involved! Before launching for their adventure, Waterkeeper's Vice President Krystyn Tully will give the young group of explorers an overview of Toronto's water quality. Krystyn will also speak to how the connections between humans, wildlife, and political decision-making all intertwine and appear in the water.
