Shared Waters: Restoring Hamilton Harbour through the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement

Join the International Joint Commission’s Great Lakes Water Quality Board for a panel and audience discussion about the past, present and future opportunities and challenges to restore and protect Hamilton Harbour and the surrounding watershed.

Panelists include:

  • Dr. John Hartig: Great Lakes Science-Policy Advisor, International Association for Great Lakes Research.

  • Chris McLaughlin: Executive Director, Bay Area Restoration Council (BARC)

  • Scott Peck: Deputy Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Watershed Planning and Engineering, Hamilton Conservation Authority

  • Melanie Goodchild: Senior Indigenous Research Fellow and Ambassador, Suncor, Fellow, The Waterloo Institute for Social Innovation and Resilience

Mark Mattson, President & Waterkeeper, Lake Ontario Waterkeeper, will moderate the evening’s conversation. Mark Mattson is also a member of the IJC’s Great Lakes Water Quality Board.
