Help Lake Ontario Waterkeeper celebrate our 10th Anniversary by joining co-hosts Edward Burtynsky and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at our inaugural fundraising gala. There will be a special musical presentation by Gord Downie.

Spend an unforgettable evening with the leaders who are helping to create a swimmable, drinkable, fishable world. Our friends and supporters include Joseph Boyden (Giller Prize winning author), Wade Davis (National Geographic explorer), Denise Donlon (media executive and television host), Gord Downie (musician and author), Dr. Joe MacInnis (physician-scientist), Kevin Lowe (NHL all-star), and Karen Percy Lowe (Olympic medallist).

Artist & Auction


We will auction off a collection of specially-curated works of art from some of your favourite artists. Values range from $2000 – $35,000. Our collection includes works by Edward Burtynsky, Paul Belliveau, Barbara Cole, and Charles Pachter.

Our auctioneer, Stephen Ranger, is Vice President, Business Development at Waddingtons and is Canada’s leading auctioneer. Each year he participates in over 20 fundraising and charitable events. His wine sales have topped $20-million and his art sales have topped $100-million.

Venue


Corus Quay is Corus Entertainment’s state-of-the-art media facility. Located on Toronto’s waterfront, Corus Quay was designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects with interiors by Quadrangle Architects. This award-winning facility is targeted for LEED Gold certification. It features a number of green initiatives including energy efficient lighting, a living, five storey biowall, rainwater re-use system, and interior use of reclaimed wood sourced from the harbour. Home to a variety of contemporary art installations, Corus Quay looks onto Canada’s Sugar Beach on the water’s edge.
